What is image upscaler?

Does this only stretch the image?
No. Real-ESRGAN estimates higher-resolution detail. The saved output must have the requested scaled dimensions; otherwise the generation is treated as unusable.
Can I make any image 4K?
The result depends on the input dimensions and chosen scale, with a 4096-pixel maximum edge. The editor shows the actual output size rather than labeling every result 4K.
Will it fix unreadable text?
Not reliably. Upscaling may invent strokes. Use the image text editor for an intentional text replacement and check the spelling afterward.
How much does it cost?
One result costs 0.2 credits. A confirmed failed or canceled task returns its reserved credits. A new version is a separate generation.
